85% progress on the Qaramalek Unlevel Intersection project with round-the-clock activity
The mayor of Tabriz’s 2nd District announced 85 percent physical progress in the construction of the Qaramalek Unlevel Intersection project, with round-the-clock activity.
According to Shahriar, Musa Alipour Zenozi announced the news and said: All segmental parts for installation on the eastern and western sides of the Qaramalek non-level intersection deck have been produced, and the construction of this overpass continues with 85% progress.
The mayor of Region 2 added: The installation of the deck parts of the eastern side of the Qaramalek overpass bridge, along with the handrail and bridge cornices, has been completed.
Alipour clarified: The operation of installing the parts of the deck on the west side of the bridge and the implementation of the shoulders (slopes of the roads) are also underway.
The mayor of District 2 also announced the preparation of traffic signs and the start of their installation to complete the Qaramalek unleven intersection, saying: So far, 2,700 billion rials have been spent on the construction of the Qaramalek grade-separated intersection.
The Qaramalek Unlevel Intersection, one of the most important traffic projects in Tabriz, is located in the municipality of District 6, and has a unique and new architecture. It is 530 meters long and 24 meters wide. It is currently being constructed on Kargar Boulevard. With the completion of the overpass, citizens will witness a major traffic transformation, facilitating traffic from the western area of Tabriz, and streamlining urban traffic.
